In our experience working and building houses nationwide, it’s common knowledge that once a professional snagging team has snagged a property, all items are usually instructed to be completed within 7 days and customers are prioritised.

It is well known that Developers expect a snagging list from new customers, as new-build snagging experts, we use our knowledge, expertise, and equipment to ensure your new home is everything you dreamt it would be.

We know what issues to look for in our snagging survey and produce comprehensive and easy to understand reports and quickly.

Many of the serious issues we find are out of sight or knowledge for most people. With the tight deadline of handing in a snagging list (typically several weeks but sometimes as short as a few days) and the builders warranty period being just 2 years, it is important to act quickly. Failing to identify issues quickly may be hazardous or costly down the line. The 2 snagging surveys we offer are the Pre completion inspection and snagging survey.

A snagging inspection is a type of inspection that is carried out on a new home or newly renovated home before the final handover. The purpose of a snagging inspection is to identify any defects or snags that need to be fixed before the sale goes through.

We provide 2 different survey types:

The first is Pre-completion inspections, or PCIs, are acceptable if you want to avoid pre-completion because they adhere to NHQB (New Homes Quality Board) regulations.

The second is Post Completion Inspection which is our most popular service and is the one to choose if you've just moved in, allows us to go into more detail (and is therefore not NHQB compatible).

Pre Completion Inspection

If you want to avoid pre completion complications with snags. This inspection adheres to the following:

✓ PDF report emailed with 24 hours

We offer a pre-completion (PCI) snagging inspections. This is compliant with the New Homes Quality Code (NHQC) from the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB). 

This service is a standard cost of £300 (VAT inclusive).

Post Completion Inspection

This is our most popular service and the one to choose if you have just moved in.
